Application of Non-stationary EIV Methods to Transient Electromagnetic Mineral Exploration
In this paper, we apply a non-stationary errors-in-variables model estimation technique to a problem arising in transient electromagnetic mineral exploration. The proposed technique is used to estimate a model which is deployed for noise cancellation. Alternative methods for noise cancellation in these systems rely on specific signal characteristics, and are thus not readily transferable to oth...
متن کاملIdentifiability of EIV Dynamic Systems with Non-Stationary Data
This paper presents novel results related to the identifiability of EIV dynamic systems based on exploiting properties of non-stationary data. We analyze single-input singleoutput systems using second order properties. Our results show that, it is possible to establish identifiability of EIV systems under mild conditions when the data is non-stationary.
متن کاملProjected non-stationary simultaneous iterative methods
In this paper, we study Projected non-stationary Simultaneous It-erative Reconstruction Techniques (P-SIRT). Based on algorithmic op-erators, convergence result are adjusted with Opial’s Theorem. The advantages of P-SIRT are demonstrated on examples taken from to-mographic imaging.

In this paper, a non-stationary errors-in-variables (EIV) model estimation method is proposed and applied to the problem of model estimation for noise-cancellation in transient electromagnetic mineral exploration. Alternative methods for noise cancellation in these systems rely on specific signal characteristics, and are thus less readily transferable to other applications. The proposed method ...
